The client’s motivation plays a large part in learning new skills. If a client is motivated, he or she may try hard to complete the learning tasks in order to get the reward offered. However, if the client is not motivated, he or she may have problem behaviors, such as tantrums, to avoid the learning task. In this training, you will learn how to consider and address the client’s motivation before you present the task.
