In this training, we describe the procedure of shaping, as well as its associated guidelines. Then we discuss chaining and how you can use chaining to link simple behaviors together to teach complex behaviors. Also, we introduce the procedure of task analysis and go over its data sheet. Then we discuss in detail the behavior chaining methods of forward chaining and backward chaining, as well as some associated practice activities and examples.
Participants learn about:
1) Shaping and its guidelines
3) Task analysis and associated data sheets
4) Behavior chaining methods of backward and forward chaining
