This training is designed to prepare entry level behavior technicians to sit for the examination to become an Applied Behavior Analysis Technician (ABAT). The training covers all the task list items from the ABAT task list. Trainees will be well prepared through the live-action videos, practice quizzes, and fill-in the blank handouts. Supervisors will be able to get acknowledgement forms signed, view and print trainee completion certificates, and track trainee progress. This training provides approximately 25 hours toward the 40 hour requirement and PrioraCare can provide supervisors with a Trainer's Manual, which includes discussion, role-play, and field training activities to supplement the online videos. This method of training is consistent with best practices for training, in which a blended model is used, as opposed to lecture or video content only.
Participants will prepare to sit for the ABAT examination by learning about all the items from the ABAT Competencies and ABAT Code of Ethics.
